We are currently seeking a self-motivated parts salesperson with a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and who works well with others.
If you have a mechanical aptitude, love numbers, cars and have computer skills, we can teach you everything else! Job
Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide excellent customer service through active listening, answering questions and education on product usage.
Recommend related parts.
Assist with inventory management and verify that all parts are currently stocked.
Cost parts on invoices and repair orders, taking into account factors such as discounts, store credit, and promotions.
Maintain positive working relationships with vendors.
Inform customers when special order parts arrive.
Coordinate with service, sales and body shop departments to ensure that parts requests are met.
Identify and support opportunities for process improvement to the parts department.
Apply retail techniques to sell and display parts and accessories.
Record and monitor back orders.
Make use of return allowances to keep idle and obsolete inventory to a minimum.
Inspect returned parts to find defects and promptly assist the customer with a replacement or a full refund.
Perform cashier responsibilities when necessary.
Maintain proper filing system for all paperwork corresponding to repair orders, special orders and back orders, etc.
